Captain Z. Boskovic M.B.E

Zivolta Boskovic, a native of Yugoslavia and a World War II RAF veteran, started the company in 1963 at the age of 51, with a Cessna 182. His makeshift office was a VW Beetle which he parked daily under a peppercorn tree next to the police air wing at Wilson Airport. This served as a flying school and an air charter company. His wife Edith, took flight bookings and pricing at home and would then ring the air traffic controller at the airport who would signal with a green light or send a messenger on a bicycle with the flight details to Bosky to file a flight plan.

In 1966, he purchased a plot of land at Wilson Airport and built the first hangar and office block that was later expanded to the premises it is today. Edith, known as Mrs. B, became the first General Manager of the company and together they grew the company into the leading private air charter company it is today. The Founder's vision is today represented by our shareholder and Director, Susan Franscenson, the daughter of Bosky and Mrs. B
